Have Your Say: Perth Intersection Upgrade
Northern Midlands Council is planning upgrades to the intersection of Main Rd, Youl Rd and Arthur St in Perth to improve safety and accessibility for all road users.
Proposed improvements include:
• New kerbing
• Traffic islands and safer crossing points
• Removal of turning bays
• New footpaths
• Updated line marking
What you need to know:
• Lanes will be wide enough to safely pass turning vehicles
• No on-street parking along new kerb sections on Main Rd
• A shared path extension along the western side of Youl Rd is planned as part of future works
Council is seeking community feedback on the proposed design.
