Council’s Community Strategies support the Strategic Plan

The Strategic Plan helps to create a sense of purpose and define the direction in which the Council may travel and establishes realistic strategic outcomes that are in line with the vision and mission that are set.

Council officers have developed a series of strategies to further support the Council's Strategic Plan 2021 – 2027, these strategies were endorsed by Council at the 22 April 2024 Council meeting (minute reference 24/0138), at which time the following was the decision of Council:

That Council
a) endorse the first five local community strategies; and
b) update the strategies post the adoption of annual budgets; and
c) release the strategies for public display and implementation.
