The Mobile Antarctic Classroom is touring Tasmania before the Australian Antarctic Festival. We will be visiting Cygnet, Oatlands, Campbell Town, St Helens, Launceston, Smithton, Burnie, Devonport, New Norfolk and Huonville.
Play with magnets, pretend penguin eggs, and polarising filters; look at replica and genuine Antarctic artefacts; take a photo in our snow tent; and chat to our staff about your Antarctic history and science questions. It's all free!
In the Northern Midlands, the Mobile Antarctic Classroom comes to Campbell Town on Thursday 8 August, 2024. Bookings recommended.
