CWA Exhibition & Birthday Celebrations

The Country Women's Association brings women together to support their local communities. They are a driving force for positive change in Tasmania through advocacy, projects, fundraising, community support, knowledge and skills sharing, achieving significant and practical results including helping newborn babies and their mums, lifting children's literacy, supporting the Cancer Council, supporting families experiencing hardship. 

This year the CWA in Tasmania celebrates 90 years and the CWA Cressy celebrates 87 years. 

To commemorate these birthdays, the Cressy CWA hosts an exhibition of wonderful historical displays, craft, and advice. Devonshire Tea for sale. An Anniversary Quilt with embroidery by each branch will be on display. 

Venue: Longford Memorial Hall, Lyttleton St. 10am - 4pm. 

Entry is Free. Donations are welcome.
