Ausglass Exhibitions. Poatina

2025 Biennial Auslass Conference comes to Tasmania. Artists, makers, and industry professionals will share their experiences of community whether physical or meaphorical, examining its influence ontheir lives and work. 

There are 2 exhibitions open to the public:


Exhibition: Tro.ne.car.tee pe.way.pel.ler. Venue The Poatina Tree Art Gallery. 10am-5pm Saturday, 10am-4pm Sunday. Official opening 5.30pm Saturday with opening address by Aimee Frodsham.  

Tro.ne.car.tee pe.way.pel.ler is Palawa Kani, the language of the Tasmanian Aboriginal people. It originates frm the northeast of Lutruwita (Tasmania) and translates to "Behold, look around". 

The exhibition includes shell necklacces, bull kelp water carriers, and flameworked sea glass pieces. 
 

Exhibition: Here. With. Now . Cnr Denison Ave & Wilmot St. Open 10am-5pm Friday and Satuday, 10am - 1.30pm Sunday. Official opening 4pm Friday. The exhibition is a highlight of every Ausglass conference. Showcasing a diverse range of distinctive works using various techniques, fostering dialogue, diversity and excellence in Australian contemporary glass.
