Australia Day 2024

Everyone is invited to join the Northern Midlands community tomorrow as we celebrate our amazing community volunteers.Kicking off the day with a Free community breakfast, followed by a volunteers awards presentation and citizenship ceremony, it will be a fun morning for all.

Meet our Australia Day Ambassador, Judi Adams (pictured). Judi has a long history of community volunteering, particularly through community engagement aimed at raising awareness of the need for cancer research. Judi was the 2018 Tasmanian Local Hero and has earned many other awards through her contant work and fundraising.

Longford Fishing Club will be cooking brekky from 9am.
